IF - Routine

Every morning my routine consists of getting a cup of coffee on the way to work. Most days I join a conference call and doodle. This was my doodle from Monday morning.

I was searching through some of my archives and found this piece from way back in art school. It struck me as primitive.

When I was a kid, we spent many summers at my grandma and grandpa's float house on Lake Pend Oreille, ID. I would always leap at the chance to feed the ducks. Such fun!

A blanket of stars meets a blanket of snow.

I got some new paper and in trying it out, decided to paint this fairy for my daughters. I also tried using one of my old dip pens for some of the detail work. I think I like the combination. I just finished it and hope everyone likes it.

They were plain little piggies, but at least they could fly…even if it was only in circles.

I took these to a Christmas cookie party a few years ago. They were so pretty I had to take pictures. I thought I would see how they turned out as a watercolor.
